Uncle Milty.
Uncle Milty was a fun loving, kind and generous fella. He never had children and loved to travel.
He took me to England and Whales when I was seventeen. He was my favorite Uncle and turned me on to National Geographic magazines and tea.
Uncle Milty, unfortunately had a terrible leg disease of some kind and suffered so.
At his camp in good ole PA was this chair that he built to keep his legs elevated. Everyone fought to have a turn sitting in Uncle Milty's comfortable chair.
About ten years ago while at a family reunion and long after Uncle Milty passed, my husband Bill opened a newspaper and drew a rough draft of the sides of the chair and took some measurements of the legs and spindles.
He then bought some pressure treated lumber, got his jig-saw out and went to work creating the 2nd ever Uncle Milty chair!
I had my own! Everyone in my family received an Uncle Milty chair for Christmas that year. I bought a wood burning tool and carved in the top rung where your head would be,"My Uncle Milty Chair"! Everyone loved them!

So now the Uncle Milty chair has evolved into the Skyway Lounger. It just seems more appropriate on a marketing level.
I had the idea to donate one of these chairs to the Skyway raffle each year. This being the second year of Skyway the orders for the chairs are coming in!

The chairs are $150.00. Each chair is unstained and made of pressure treated wood and exterior screws. The chair is 24 inches wide, 6 feet long and a little over 4 feet high. If you want your chair painted or stained. I guess I could do it for additional $50.00. You pick your color and supply it.
Orders are generally filled in two weeks.
We do deliver in a fifty mile radius for and additional pre- arranged cost.
Please make check or money orders out to William Brown and send to 1038 Williams Rd, Earlville NY 13332
Please call me at 1-315-691-4708 or 1-315-750-8625 to place and order or email me at swansstudio@pammeswan.com.
We can deliver and will arrange this with in according to where you need the chairs delivered.
Thanks and you'll really LOVE this chair!
Pamme
Here is a shot of this years Skyway Lounger hand painted by my dear friend and artist, Leigh Yardley.
Your chair should you decide buy one will NOT look like this unless of course you hire Leigh to paint it for you.
The hot babe on the Skyway Lounger is my friend Meredith. She doesn't come with the chair either. Sorry.
